I built the tool and did the SEO.</p><p><b>Tech Stack</b></p><p>The frontend is React, and the backend is made with Flask in Python.</p><p><b>Marketing and growth</b></p><p>All acquisition and growth is because of SEO. It has taken a while, but the tool now ranks number one for all of the important keywords.</p><p><b>Revenue and profit</b></p><p>The tool generates around $200-$300 in revenue each month. All of the revenue is from one-time payments. The tool has a usage-based pricing system. When users run out of credits, they need to buy additional credits.</p><p><b>Expenses</b></p><p>It runs on a $24 /mo virtual machine on Linode. At the moment, that also runs other side projects of mine, so you'd probably be fine with an even cheaper VM.</p><p><b>Return on investment</b></p><p>No effort is required from the buyer to maintain the tool.
