Overview

Startup description

1. Elevator pitch

Turn cold messages into real replies with personalised landing pages built for each candidate. Fast, simple, and branded — designed for recruiters who want to convert more, faster.

2. Problem

Most job outreach is forgettable and disconnected. A few lines of text, a link to a generic job ad, maybe a vague mention of “team culture.” Candidates want more than just a list of requirements. They want to know what the team is like, how the hiring process works, and why this role matters to them.

3. Solution

My platform helps recruiters turn generic outreach into personalised, branded experiences — making every candidate feel seen and valued. Instead of sending forgettable messages, they can now send personalised landing pages. It’s like a job post, careers page, and intro email all rolled into one — but simpler, faster, and tailored to their employer brand.

The result? Higher reply rates, more qualified applicants, better conversations — and a hiring experience that actually feels human.

Key highlights:

Annual revenue: $3,431.81

Annual profit: $2,410.81

CAC: $0

Business margin: 73% (can be higher since most of the running costs can be dialled back to the free plan)

Team

Solo founder - I've been taking care of development, marketing and customer support.

Tech Stack

Next.js (React, TailwindCSS) on the frontend.

Supabase for database and backend.

Vercel for hosting.

Simple Analytics for powering the internal analytics.

Approximated for handling the custom domains.

Resend for transactional emails.

LogRocket and Betterstack for observability.

The entire codebase is clean and well-documented.

Marketing and growth

Launched in April 2024, I've later opted to launch an AppSumo campaign to help me get a core customer base and shape the roadmap of the platform. With the help of the continuous feedback I've received from early users, I've since added a plethora of features such as: custom domains, webhooks, teams, 3rd-party scripts support, custom forms, Google jobs metadata, etc.

Revenue and profit

Although I've been receiving a fairly low cut from AppSumo, the campaign netted a total of $3,431.81; however, the early feedback that helped shape the features and core user base was invaluable.

Running costs are:

$25/month Supabase

$20/month Vercel

$20/month Approximated

$8/month Google Suite

$145/year Simple Analytics

Simple Analytics should be around $500 per year however reaching out to one of the founders they were kind enough to bill me lower for 2 years in a row now.

Furthermore, Supabase and Vercel can be dialled back to the free tier, saving roughly $540 per year.

Return on investment

When I launched this on AppSumo, the platform had a fraction of the features compared to what it has now; yet it was gaining traction. Pricing was also very differently structured, with only a free tier and a single premium tier at $12/month.

Nowadays, there is no free tier (just a 7-day trial), and there are 3 pricing tiers: $15/month, $45/month, and $135/month (2 months free when paid yearly).

You could recoup your initial investment by re-launching a limited-time AppSumo campaign. With the new price structure, the split and payout would look very different today.

Startup assets

All assets are included in the sales, including website, database, email, all 3rd party online accounts, contacts, and every additional marketing materials I've ever created for the platform (logo, promo videos, etc.).

Risks

As with any other project at this stage, the only risk I can think of is growth. However, I believe that with the right go-to-market muscle and a pair of fresh eyes, the platform could become the standard for candidate-first outreach.

Summary

The HR tech / talent-acquisition market is rapidly shifting towards differentiated candidate experience and data-driven outreach.

The platform fills a niche between cold email tools and full-ATS stacks: high-impact outreach, low friction for adoption, and strong visibility into engagement.

For a buyer with an existing recruiting or HR technology suite, the platform represents a plug-in differentiator: boost their stack’s outreach capability, deepen data insights, and extend brand value for their enterprise clients.

The product is built, live, and generating meaningful usage—so you’re not acquiring an idea, you’re acquiring traction.

Overwhelmingly positive initial feedback from the core user base.

It can be extended beyond recruitment.

✅ $3,400 in ARR✅ 480 customers✅ Business model: SaaS✅ Built with TailwindCSS, Next.js, Supabase

Simple Analytics should be around $500 per year however reaching out to one of the founders they were kind enough to bill me lower for 2 years in a row now. Furthermore, Supabase and Vercel can be dialled back to the free tier, saving roughly $540 per year.
Business Model

Asking Price Reasoning
Very strong initial signal from the core user base. Some even asked for white-labelling and to be regional partners. Great potential all around and you can always recoup your initial investment with another lifetime deal. Can also expand beyond recruitment.
Reason for Selling
I have no more spare time to invest in this project.
Growth Opportunity
Double down on marketing and position the platform as a specialised tool for talent partners. In terms of features, there's a refined roadmap built with the help of the core user base that you can tap into. Platform is also ready for AI integration.
