Overview

My product is a live iOS and Android recovery app that helps men quit adult-content habits, resist urges, build discipline, and regain control.

It combines daily check-ins and streak tracking with structured recovery content, urge-management tools, journaling, reminders, community features, and a native Protection system covering 200,000+ adult-content websites.

The app is approved and live on both the Apple App Store and Google Play, with freemium access and Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime monetization.

I built it from personal experience with the problem after being free from adult content for more than five years. What started as a focused recovery product has grown into a full cross-platform app with native blocking technology, subscriptions, analytics, attribution, content, a marketing website, and an SEO growth system.

I’m selling primarily to free up capital and focus on other businesses.

Key highlights

-

The Protection layer also includes native platform-specific functionality rather than being a simple content app.

On iOS, the app uses Apple Family Controls / Managed Settings together with a Safari content-blocking extension.

On Android, the app uses an AccessibilityService-based App Shield and supported-browser Site Shield.

Marketing and growth

Growth so far has come from ASO, Apple Search Ads, Meta tests, founder-led content, backlinks, reviews, and SEO.

Earlier Meta campaigns under the previous trial model generated installs, free-trial starts, and users who converted into paid Yearly subscriptions.

A later freemium Meta test generated roughly 40 installs at about $0.80 CPI. It did not produce attributable paid conversions, so it was paused rather than scaled.

Apple Search Ads has also produced paying-user signals from high-intent traffic.

Organic search is now another growth channel. The landing page has a dedicated SEO system built around a 250-page content map, with workflows for research, article production, QA, internal linking, image generation, and WordPress publishing. Most of that organic opportunity is still ahead.

Revenue and profit

It has generated approximately $250 in TTM revenue from Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime purchases.

There are currently 16 total paying customers and 12 active subscribers.

The app has already demonstrated willingness to pay across all three plan types. Earlier paid-acquisition users converted into Yearly subscriptions, and a production Android user purchased Lifetime at the full $49.99 price.

The business has no employees and relatively low ongoing operating costs. Current revenue is small because it has not yet been scaled aggressively, rather than because the core product still needs to be built.

Return on investment

The main acquisition value is the amount of product and infrastructure already completed.

A buyer receives a functioning cross-platform consumer app without needing to start from zero on product development, native iOS/Android Protection, subscriptions, entitlements, account systems, store approval, analytics, attribution, website infrastructure, or SEO.

The clearest growth opportunities are improving Free-to-Premium conversion, optimizing pricing and paywalls, scaling high-intent acquisition, expanding SEO, localizing into additional markets, creator partnerships, and improving store conversion.

The app is at the stage where distribution and monetization are bigger opportunities than rebuilding the product.

Startup assets

The sale includes the complete iOS and Android source code, live App Store and Google Play apps, the brand and design assets, the domain, WordPress website and content, SEO production system, 250-page SEO content map, Protection database, RevenueCat configuration, Firebase backend, analytics and attribution setup, store listing assets, screenshots and creatives, ASO work, recovery content, technical documentation, and release history.

Existing customer/app data can be transferred where permitted by the relevant platforms and privacy requirements.

I can also provide reasonable transition support covering the codebase, stores, release workflow, monetization, and growth systems.

Risks

It is still an early-stage business, so the main risk is proving scalable distribution and improving conversion.

Paid acquisition has produced paying customers historically, but a repeatable profitable acquisition channel has not yet been established under the current freemium model.

The product also operates in a sensitive category, so Apple and Google policy requirements should be respected when changing Protection functionality, permissions, or store messaging.

Summary

It is a real, revenue-generating mobile product already live on both major app stores.

It has 16 paying customers, 12 active subscribers, recurring subscription revenue, Lifetime monetization, native iOS and Android blocking technology, a 200,000+ website Protection database, an established brand, a marketing website, and a 250-page SEO growth system.

A substantial amount of the difficult work is already done: product development, store approval, native Protection, billing, account infrastructure, analytics, attribution, content, ASO, and SEO infrastructure.

The opportunity for the next owner is to take an already functioning product and focus on what the app has not yet had at scale: distribution, conversion optimization, and growth.

✅ $250 TTM revenue

✅ 16 customers

✅ Business model: Freemium

✅Built with Swift, React Native, Kotlin
