Overview

Startup description

My platform is a tool that helps people create AI-generated content and videos faster using models like Veo, Sora, Wan, Kling, and others. The main idea is simple: users can turn prompts or trending content ideas into videos without needing to spend hours scripting, editing, or figuring out what to post.

I started it because AI video was moving fast, but most tools still felt confusing or scattered. It was built to make the process easier for creators, marketers, and anyone who wants to produce content around trending niches quickly.

Key highlights:

Annual revenue / ARR: $11,842 (projected, based on current MRR)

MRR: $987

Paid subscribers: 21

Average revenue per account: $46.99

Churn rate: 0% so far

Net new MRR: $987

LTV: Too early to calculate accurately since there has been no churn yet

CAC: Very low / mainly organic so far, unless you spent on ads

Business margin: Lean software business with low fixed costs; exact profit depends on AI/API usage costs

Growth: Revenue recently grew from $0 to $987 MRR, showing early traction

Team

Solo founder, I'm responsible for both development and marketing.

Tech stack

JavaScript/TypeScript setup. The frontend uses Next.js, React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Tailwind CSS to create the user interface, dashboard, pricing pages, and overall web app experience.

For the backend, I used Node.js and Next.js API routes to handle server-side logic, user requests, AI generation flows, and app functionality. Supabase and PostgreSQL are used for the database, user data, authentication, and storing app-related records. Prisma is used to manage and interact with the database in a cleaner way.

Payments and subscriptions are handled through Stripe, including checkout, billing, and subscription management. The app is deployed and hosted on Vercel, which makes it easy to ship updates quickly and keep the platform live.

Marketing and growth

Focusing on only organic long-form YouTube content since it's been converting the best compared to short-form organic content and paid ads. All the existing paid subscribers come from YouTube long-form organic content.

Revenue and profit

The platform is currently doing around $987 MRR and $11,842 ARR with 21 paid subscribers.

Each subscription is roughly $50/month, and after backend costs, AI model costs, hosting, and other usage expenses, the profit is around $30 per subscriber/month. That means the business currently makes around $630/month in profit, or about $7,560/year in annual profit at the current subscriber count.

The business is still early, but it already has real paying users, nearly $1K MRR, low operating costs, and clear room to scale with more marketing and distribution.

Return on investment

The current estimated profit is around $630/month, based on roughly $30 profit per paid subscriber across 21 subscribers.

At a $25,000 asking price, the simple payback period would be around 40 months based on the current estimated profit, assuming no growth. That said, I believe the real upside is in distribution, not just the current numbers.

From my own experience working on marketing for other AI tools, one strong YouTube long-form video with real traction, for example, 50,000+ views, can potentially add thousands in new MRR if the offer and conversion flow are strong. The platform already has the product, payments, subscribers, and marketing material in place, so the main opportunity for a buyer is to take that foundation and scale it through content, especially YouTube.

Startup assets

120 email sign ups

Domain

Marketing materials and strategy.

Risks

Spending directly on paid ads, speaking from my own experience, don't just jump in straight into paid ads, the best strategy to go with to get converted paying subscribers is YouTube long-form organic content.

Summary

It is a great opportunity for someone who wants to get into the AI content/video space without starting from scratch. The product is already live, has paying customers, and is doing around $987 MRR / $11.8K ARR.

The buyer gets the full foundation: product, domain, branding, payments, subscriptions, and all marketing material. Since AI video and short-form content are growing fast, a buyer with strong marketing or distribution could take what’s already built and scale it much further.

✅ $987 in ARR

✅ 21 customers

✅ Business model: SaaS

✅ Built with TypeScript, Stripe, Node.js

Expenses

$150 for domain and backend costs for AI models through fal.ai.

Business Model

the platform makes money through monthly subscriptions. The pricing plans are $29/month, $49/month, and $109/month, depending on the user’s needs and usage level.

Target Audience

Creators who want to earn money through social media.

Asking Price Reasoning

The $25,000 asking price is based on the fact that it is not just an idea, it is already live, has paying customers, and is generating around $987 MRR / $11.8K ARR. The buyer is getting the full foundation: the product, domain, branding, etc.

Reason for Selling

I’m selling because I want to free up capital and focus on my other projects. The platform is live with paying users, but I don’t currently have the time to scale it properly.

Growth Opportunity

I would grow it mainly through YouTube long-form content, creating tutorials, AI video breakdowns, trend analysis, and “how to make viral AI content” videos that attract creators and businesses searching for these tools. This can drive consistent organic traffic.
