Overview

Startup description

My product is a live iOS productivity app that helps users organize tasks, schedules, reminders, recurring activities, templates and shared tasks in one place. I built and launched the product independently in March 2026 after seeing an opportunity for a clean, lightweight daily planning experience. The app is monetized through monthly, yearly and lifetime Pro upgrades and is already generating revenue from paying users.

Key highlights:

Launched: March 2026

TTM gross revenue: $72.93

TTM net profit/proceeds: $50.16

Current MRR: approximately $17

Active subscriptions: 6

Last full month revenue: $26.66

Last full month profit: $18.46

Approx. gross margin: 69%

No paid advertising spend to date

Paid acquisition CAC: effectively no ad spend; blended CAC has not been formally calculated

Churn and LTV: not enough operating history yet to present reliable long-term figures.

Team

The startup is operated by one founder/developer. I handle the mobile app, backend development, App Store releases, subscription setup, analytics, maintenance, product improvements and general operations. There are no employees or contractors required to run the product.

Tech Stack

The mobile app is built with React Native, Expo and TypeScript.

The backend uses Laravel/PHP with MySQL.

RevenueCat manages subscriptions and in-app purchases.

Mixpanel is used for product analytics.

The architecture is straightforward and can be maintained by a developer familiar with modern React Native and Laravel applications.

Marketing and growth

Growth so far has been mainly organic through the Apple App Store. I have not run meaningful paid advertising campaigns, which leaves substantial room for a buyer to test Apple Search Ads, social media, content marketing, ASO improvements and other acquisition channels. The app has already converted users into paying customers without a dedicated marketing budget.

Revenue and profit

The app has generated $72.93 in trailing revenue and approximately $50.16 in net proceeds/profit after Apple/store fees and taxes. Current MRR is approximately $17, with 6 active subscriptions.

The most recent full month generated $26.66 revenue and approximately $18.46 net profit.

There are currently no meaningful dedicated operating expenses. The backend runs on a shared server that hosts several other applications, so there is no separate $25/month hosting cost attributable solely to this product.

Because the app only launched in March 2026, there is not yet enough history to provide meaningful long-term churn, LTV or retention figures.

Return on investment

This should be viewed primarily as a product and asset acquisition rather than a mature cash-flow acquisition at its current scale. A buyer receives a finished, published and monetized app without having to spend months designing, developing and launching it from scratch.

The strongest ROI opportunity is through increasing user acquisition, improving App Store conversion, optimizing subscriptions and expanding the product to additional platforms or markets. At the current revenue level, I would not claim a short payback period without further growth.

Startup assets:

Risks

The main risk is that the product is still early-stage, with low current revenue and a relatively small user base. The productivity category is also competitive.

A buyer can reduce these risks by improving ASO, testing paid acquisition carefully, increasing App Store conversion, improving onboarding and subscription conversion, and continuing product development based on user behavior. Platform dependency on Apple is another risk, although the React Native codebase also creates a potential path toward Android expansion.

Summary

My product is a fully built, published and monetized iOS productivity app with existing paying subscribers and a modern React Native/Laravel stack. It is still early in its growth cycle and has received very little marketing, making it better suited to a buyer who wants an operational product they can immediately improve and scale rather than building one from zero.

✅ $72 TTM revenue

✅ 6 customers

✅ Business model: Freemium

✅Built with TypeScript, Expo, React Native

Number of Customers
Expenses
$22.77 - that is the difference between gross RevenueCat revenue and net proceeds, mainly Apple/store fees and taxes. I would not add the full shared server bill here.
Business Model
Freemium iOS app with optional Pro upgrades: $2.99/month, $19.99/year, or $49.99 lifetime. Payments are handled through Apple in-app purchases.
Target Audience
Individuals who want a simple way to organize tasks, schedules and reminders, including professionals, students and productivity-focused users.
Asking Price Reasoning
The $3,000 asking price reflects a fully developed and published iOS app with paying subscribers, recurring revenue, an existing App Store listing, backend infrastructure, subscription setup, analytics, source code and IP.
Reason for Selling
I’m focusing my time on other software projects and client work, so I don’t have enough time to actively market and grow this app. The product is fully operational and I’d rather transfer it to a buyer who can focus on scaling it.
Growth Opportunity
Increase App Store optimization and paid acquisition, improve free-to-paid conversion, add new productivity features, expand to Android, and localize the app for additional markets.
