Overview

My product is a live SaaS for tracking physical equipment. Organizations add assets, print QR tags, check items in and out, assign gear to people, get overdue alerts, and keep an audit log for reports and depreciation.

I built it so teams could stop running equipment from spreadsheets. The product is live and billing. I am selling because of a personal health situation that limits the time I can put into operating and growing it.

Key highlights

Annual revenue (run-rate): ~$3,876 ARR ($323.04 MRR)

Annual operating cost: $19 (domain)

Annual profit (run-rate): ~$3,400–$3,550 after domain + Lemon Squeezy fees

Churn: 4% in the last 3 months (~1.3% monthly)

LTV: ~$1,100–$2,250 per paying organization

CAC: ~$0 (no paid ads)

Refunds: 0

Growth: early-stage, $323 MRR

Team

Solo founder. I built the product and handle support, billing, and deployment. There is no team to transfer. I will stay available for a short handoff after the sale.

Tech stack

Next.js — app and marketing site

Vercel — hosting and deploys

Supabase — database and auth

Resend — transactional email

Lemon Squeezy — payments and subscriptions

Marketing and growth

Growth so far has been organic: the product site and a Product Hunt launch. No paid ads. No email list to remarket.

The product is live and converting. The remaining work is distribution.

Revenue and profit

MRR: $323.04

ARR run-rate: ~$3,876

Annual operating cost: $19

Lemon Squeezy: 5% + $0.50 per charge, +0.5% on subscriptions, +1.5% on international cards (about 8–12% of revenue)

Annual profit (run-rate): ~$3,400–$3,550

Pricing: Free up to 150 items / Starter $14.99/mo / Pro $29.99/mo / yearly 36% off

Churn: 4% in the last 3 months

LTV: ~$1.1k–$2.3k per paying org

CAC: ~$0

Refunds: 0

This is recurring SaaS revenue with very low fixed costs. Most of the deduction from MRR is payment processing, not overhead.

Return on investment

If $323 MRR holds after transfer:

$5,000 price → payback ~16 months of MRR / ~17–18 months of net profit

$7,500 price → payback ~23 months of MRR / ~25–26 months of net profit.

Payback gets faster if the buyer converts free workspaces to paid or sells yearly plans. Payback gets slower if customers churn after the ownership change.

Startup assets

Domain

Live Next.js app and marketing site

Full source code

Vercel hosting

Supabase database and auth

Resend email

Lemon Squeezy account and active subscriptions

Customer / workspace data

Product email

X account

Not included: a large email list or social following.

Risks

Revenue is still small. A buyer who does no marketing will likely keep ~$323 MRR, not 3x it.

The free plan (150 items) lets some organizations never pay.

The category is competitive (Sortly, Snipe-IT, AssetTiger, and similar).

The business is founder-operated today. A written handoff and 2 weeks of support reduce that risk.

Some customers may cancel when they see a new owner.

How to reduce risk: keep the product and pricing the same for 30–60 days, send one customer email (“same product, new operator”), convert the largest free workspaces, and push yearly plans.

Summary

Buy my product if you want a live, billed equipment-tracking SaaS instead of building one from scratch. The domain, code, stack, checkout, QR flow, and paying subscribers already exist. Fixed cost is $19/year. Net margin after payment fees is high.

Do not buy it if you need a large, already-scaled company. The honest offer is a working product at $323 MRR, ~$3.4k–$3.6k run-rate profit, a modern stack, and room for an operator who will sell it.

I want a clean transfer and a short handoff — not an earn-out.

✅ $643 TTM revenue

✅ 20 customers

✅ Business model: SaaS

✅ Built with Next.js, Supabase, Vercel

Expenses

$19 Domain, nothing else.

Business Model

SaaS subscription. Monthly or yearly. No setup fee. Plans can be changed anytime.

Target Audience

Schools, NGOs, and small businesses that need to track equipment without enterprise software. Typical buyer: ops, IT, or admin staff managing laptops, tools, classroom tech, or donated gear.

Asking Price Reasoning

Asking $8,500. That’s about 1.9× TTM revenue (~$3,876) and about 2× run-rate profit after the $19/year domain cost and Lemon Squeezy fees. The price reflects a live product with $323 MRR, 20 paying organizations, 86 total organizations, a modern stack.

Reason for Selling

Selling due to a personal health situation that limits the time I can put into operating and growing the product. I want a clean handover to a buyer who can run it.

Growth Opportunity

66 free organizations are already in the product. The first growth lever is converting free workspaces that are hitting 150 items, 1 admin, or 1 location. Other levers: yearly plans (36% off), outbound to schools and NGOs, and SEO for equipment tracking.

30 days free support from seller

Competitors

Sortly, Snipe-IT, AssetTiger, Asset Panda, EZOfficeInventory, and spreadsheets. My platform competes on price and simplicity: QR checkout, alerts, and audits for small teams instead of heavy IT suites.

Tech Stack

Next.js, Supabase, Vercel, Resend, Express.js.
