Overview

Startup description

My product is a no-code SaaS that lets people build, customize, and embed AI chat widgets that connect to their n8n automation workflows. n8n is one of the fastest-growing automation tools in the world, but it does not give users a polished, customer-facing chat interface out of the box. That is the gap this product fills. A user signs up, opens a visual configurator, styles their widget (colors, layout, popup or in-page, security settings), and copies a single embed snippet onto their site. No coding required.

The product has two sides:

Standalone widgets: the customer's n8n webhook lives directly in the embed, so traffic goes browser to n8n with nothing in between. This is unlocked by a one-time lifetime license.

Managed widgets: the webhook is stored and encrypted server-side, and traffic flows through our proxy which adds security controls (allowed domains, geofencing, rate limits, auth), logs messages, and meters usage. This runs on prepaid credit packs where one message equals one credit.

Key highlights

Annual revenue: ~$14,457 in the trailing twelve months (~$19,321 all-time since launch in April 2025)

Annual profit: ~$12,985 in the trailing twelve months (roughly 90% margin)

Churn rate: No traditional subscription churn. The model is one-time lifetime licenses plus prepaid credit top-ups, so there is no monthly subscription to cancel and no recurring churn to fight.

LTV: ~$70 average revenue per paying customer, trending up as the new bulk-credit package and dynamic license pricing push order values higher

CAC: $0. Every customer so far has come from free organic channels. I have never spent a single penny on ads.

Business margin: ~90%. Total running costs are about $1,472 per year (hosting, payment fees, and tax).

3,150 total signups

276 paying customers

357 total transactions (214 lifetime licenses, 136 credit packs)

Average order value ~$54

100% organic traffic, zero ad spend.

Team

Solo founder. That is me. I handle everything: development, customer support, marketing, content, and SEO. The important part for a buyer is that the business is almost fully automated. Signups, email verification, payments, credit metering, credit expiry, low-balance alerts, and customer emails all run on their own through cron jobs and webhooks. I spend one to two hours per week, and most of that is just checking that the systems are running fine. There is no team to retain, no payroll, and no operational overhead to inherit.

Tech Stack

Modern, clean, and well documented. The whole thing is TypeScript.

Main app: Next.js 14, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript, hosted on Railway

Databases: MySQL + MongoDB Atlas

Payments: Creem (this is our payment processor, not Stripe)

Email: Loops.so for all transactional and lifecycle emails

Analytics and security: Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Cloudflare.

Marketing and growth

This is the part I am most proud of, because all of it is free.

Google Search: the primary driver. The product and its blog and docs rank well for n8n chat related searches. There is a full content engine already built and indexed.

AI tools: ChatGPT and other AI assistants regularly cite and recommend the product when people ask how to add a chat UI to n8n. This is a growing, compounding source of qualified traffic.

Reddit: organic mentions and community discussion in n8n and automation communities

YouTube: tutorial and demo content that brings in intent-driven viewers

Word of mouth: happy users recommending it to others

I have never run a paid ad. CAC is effectively zero, and the organic footprint keeps compounding on its own.

Revenue and profit

All-time revenue: $19,320.86 since launch (April 2025)

Trailing twelve months revenue(TTM): $14,457.26

Trailing twelve months expenses: $1,472.31 (hosting + Creem payment fees + tax)

Trailing twelve months profit: ~$12,985 (~90% margin)

Startup assets

Here is everything that transfers with the acquisition:

Full codebase hosted on GitHub, well documented as it's agent-first code.

Domain

Infrastructure on Railway with a one-click transfer

Brand assets

Analytics data via Mixpanel

Documentation covering the architecture, services, and operations.

Risks

Revenue is transactional, not recurring: There is no subscription MRR, so revenue depends on a steady flow of new buyers rather than a locked-in recurring base. The upside is there is also no churn. A buyer who wants recurring revenue can introduce a subscription tier or lean harder into the credit model, which already brings repeat buyers.

Traffic concentration in Google and AI citations: Most traffic is organic search and AI recommendations. An algorithm change could affect volume. This is minimized by the fact that no single paid channel props up the business, the content moat is already built, and paid acquisition is completely untapped as a backup lever.

Why selling now?

I am selling for one honest reason. I am starting fresh in another niche that needs my full focus, and I would like to extend my runway with some cash so I can build it with less risk. The business is healthy and running well. It just needs an owner who has the time and attention it deserves. You would be stepping into a profitable, automated, and well-documented product with plenty of room to grow.

✅ $14,557 TTM revenue

✅ 275 customers

✅ Business model: Credits

✅ Built with Cloudflare, TailwindCSS, Next.js

Number of Customers
Expenses
Hosting/infra ~$240/year ($20/mo), Creem payment fees + tax. No additional expenses.
Business Model
One-time revenue lines, no subscription: a lifetime license for standalone widgets and prepaid credit packs for managed widgets.
Target Audience
n8n users and automation agencies who need a polished, no-code chat widget for their workflows.
Asking Price Reasoning
About 3x TTM profit (at ~90% margin). Fair given $0 CAC, 100% organic traffic, only 1 to 2 hours/week to run, a strong SEO and AI-citation moat, and 3,150 users with room to convert.
Reason for Selling
I'm focusing full-time on a new project in a different niche and want to free up the cash and attention to build it properly. This one runs great, it just needs an owner who has time for it.
Growth Opportunity
Grown to date on 100% free traffic and zero ad spend, so paid acquisition is wide open. Plus: convert the existing 3,150 signups, add a subscription tier for recurring revenue, and expand beyond n8n to Make and Zapier.
30 days free support from seller
Competitors
n8n's own free chat embed (@n8n/chat) but it's very basic. Our edge is being purpose-built for n8n, no-code, and fully managed.
Tech Stack
GitHub, Cloudflare, TailwindCSS, Next.js, MySQL, MongoDB.
