Overview

I’m selling a mobile productivity app built around goal tracking, planning, habits, journaling, tasks, and self-improvement systems.

Unlike most productivity apps that focus only on tasks or habits, this app connects vision → goals → daily execution → reflection inside one ecosystem, which creates a much stronger emotional connection with users interested in self-improvement, discipline, and personal growth.

The app has been live since September 1, 2025 (~8.5 months).

Current metrics:

• ~$1,100 gross revenue in the last 28 days

• ~$590 true MRR

• ~95% profit margins

• ~$5/month infrastructure costs

•~950 downloads in the last 28 days

• ~$30 AOV

• 4.4 US App Store rating

• ~85% yearly subscriptions

This is still an early-stage growth asset, not a mature passive SaaS. Revenue has been closely tied to active acquisition, which is exactly why the upside is interesting. When distribution was pushed more aggressively, the app scaled quickly.

Here is the full storie:

The first ~3.5 months were mostly experimentation: onboarding, positioning, conversion flow, and Reddit distribution. Revenue during that phase was around ~$150–300/month.

Around mid-December, I found a Reddit acquisition strategy that started performing extremely well. Combined with onboarding improvements and conversion optimization, the app scaled from a few hundred dollars/month to around ~$1k/month run rate in roughly 2 weeks.

From Dec 18 to Jan 24, the app generated over ~$3k using organic Reddit distribution only and no paid ads.

Growth later slowed because:

• university restarted after winter break,

• I reduced acquisition activity heavily,

• and we experienced operational issues with Reddit scaling/account bans.

Even during low-effort periods in February/March, the app still generated around ~$600/month while requiring very little active work.

Around mid-April, I returned to active growth, solved most operational scaling issues, and scaled revenue back to around ~$1.1k/month again within ~2 weeks.

The business is still early-stage and should not be viewed purely as a mature passive SaaS.

A large part of the value comes from:

• validated monetization,

• strong yearly subscription conversion,

• optimized onboarding/paywall,

• proven organic acquisition,

• operational learnings,

• and repeatable growth systems already developed.

I also built internal tracking systems to measure which types of posts and funnels performed best.

At the moment, almost all acquisition comes from organic Reddit distribution. Paid ads haven't been tested. Influencer marketing, UGC, ASO, affiliate systems, partnerships, community features, lifecycle marketing, and web expansion are all still largely untapped.

That’s why I believe the app is best suited for someone who sees it as a scalable growth asset rather than just a passive cash-flow SaaS.

Tech stack:

Flutter (Dart), Node.js, PostgreSQL, Cloudflare Storage.

SDKs/services:RevenueCat, Superwall, Mixpanel, AppsFlyer, Microsoft Clarity.

The app works across iPhone, iPad, Android, and Apple Silicon Macs through a single Flutter codebase, and the backend is fully decoupled, making future web expansion straightforward.

The sale includes:

• full codebase

• internal tracking systems

• acquisition workflows

• operational documentation

• and one month of support after the sale (more if needed)

I’m selling because I’m currently balancing university, sports, and multiple other projects, and realistically cannot give the app the level of focus required to fully scale it further.

Honestly, the main reason I’m selling is time and capital allocation.

First, I want more capital to move faster on other app ideas and scale future projects more aggressively. Right now, a sale would give me the ability to reinvest into new products, marketing, and growth much faster.

Second, I realistically don’t have enough time to give this app the level of focus it deserves anymore. I’m balancing university, multiple projects, and intensive boxing training while preparing for competitions, so my time has become extremely limited.

I genuinely believe the app still has a lot of upside, especially for someone who can dedicate consistent time, attention, and resources toward scaling acquisition and expanding the brand properly.

✅ $5,800 TTM revenue

✅ 230 customers

✅ Business model: SaaS

✅ Built with Express.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL

Asking Price Reasoning
The asking price is based not only on the current revenue, but also on the validated acquisition system, optimized onboarding/paywall, strong yearly subscription mix, operational learnings, and the growth potential of the app.
