Overview

Startup description

My product is a Spanish-first AI assistant — think "ChatGPT for Latin America." It gives Spanish speakers an AI with a real personality ("soul") tuned through heavy iteration: Gemini powers the free tiers, Claude Sonnet powers premium, with a voice mode tuned for Spanish pronunciation, image/PDF understanding, and Google Search grounding for current-info queries. It runs live on the web with native apps published on both the Apple App Store and Google Play.

I started it after noticing that the big AI products treat the 500M+ Spanish-speaking market as an afterthought: interfaces translated poorly, personalities that don't land culturally, and payment options that don't work in countries where credit cards are unreliable. This bot was built Spanish-first, with a Venezuelan personality angle and crypto payments alongside Stripe for exactly those markets. I built it solo to a launch-ready state; my other ventures now take my time, so I'm selling it as a finished asset.

Key highlights

This is priced as an asset sale — the highlights are product and distribution assets, not financials:

Revenue: $112 gross YTD, $15.98 MRR — full transparency: the subscribers are the founder and friends, who subscribed to test the payment rails end-to-end. Seven months of clean renewals, zero failed payments. Treat as pre-revenue.

108 registered users, 349 conversations, 1,518 messages lifetime — from one brief February soft-launch, nothing since

Live iOS AND Android apps in both stores — store listings transfer with the sale (skip Apple review entirely)

~40,700 lines of TypeScript, 43 API routes, 39 components, 15 database models, 417 commits

3-tier monetization (Guest/Free/Premium) enforced server-side, with Stripe subscriptions + NOWPayments crypto already wired

A tuned Spanish personality ("soul") — the differentiation is the product experience, not raw model access

Running costs near zero at idle (Vercel + Supabase free tiers, pay-per-use AI APIs)

37 technical docs + 9 specs + per-user cost models — run it without ever needing me.

Team

Solo founder/developer. I built the entire stack: web app, both mobile apps, payments, infrastructure, and documentation. No employees, no contractors, no ongoing time commitment — the product currently runs itself at near-zero cost. The buyer needs one developer (or none, short-term) plus marketing effort.

Tech Stack

Web: Next.js 15 (App Router), React 19, TypeScript strict mode, Tailwind CSS

AI: Vercel AI SDK v5 with streaming (SSE). Live models: Gemini 2.5 Flash (guest/free) and Claude Sonnet (premium), wrapped in a tuned Spanish personality; Google Search grounding on Gemini for current-info queries. Adapters for OpenAI and xAI ship in the codebase, disabled — enable in config

Data: Prisma ORM + PostgreSQL and file storage on Supabase

Auth: NextAuth — Google OAuth, magic-link email, anonymous guest sessions

Payments: Stripe subscriptions + NOWPayments (crypto)

Voice: TTS voice mode with Spanish-tuned pronunciation rules

Mobile: native Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android) WebView wrappers

Quality: Vitest, ESLint, Prettier, Husky pre-commit hooks

Hosting: Vercel (production), deploys on push.

Marketing and growth

Almost none — and that is the opportunity. I shared it once with a small circle in February; that alone brought ~90 signups, ~50 active users, and 1,200+ messages in a single month, at zero spend. I never followed up, and activity decayed to near zero — the honest picture of an unmarketed product. No ads, no content, no ASO, no social presence, ever.

For a buyer the read is simple: the one time anyone pushed it, people signed up and used it. 100% of your effort goes into distribution of an already-finished product, and the docs include two business plans with tier pricing and per-user cost economics to build the growth plan on.

Revenue and profit

Revenue: $112 gross YTD, $15.98 MRR. Full disclosure: subscribers are the founder and friends, testing the payment system end-to-end. Treat this as a pre-revenue asset sale — the seven months of uninterrupted renewals (zero failed payments, zero refunds) prove the billing rails work, not traction.

Monthly costs: near zero at idle. Vercel and Supabase free tiers; AI API costs are pay-per-use and scale only with real users. Per-user cost models are documented.

Monetization is fully built: Premium via Stripe and via crypto (NOWPayments), with server-side tier enforcement (message limits, model access, feature gates). The first real paying customer requires zero engineering work.

Return on investment

At $2,900, payback is a marketing question, not an engineering one.

Illustrative math: at a $6–8/month premium price, ~40–50 subscribers cover the purchase price in under a year — against a 500M-speaker market with working distribution on web plus both app stores. Compare against the rebuild path: replicating this (months of development, app-store approvals on both platforms, payment integrations, Spanish voice/personality tuning) costs a multiple of the asking price before your first user. Holding cost while you grow it is near zero, so downside is capped. To be clear: there is no real revenue, so ROI depends entirely on the buyer's distribution effort.

Startup assets

Full source code with git history: ~40,700 lines of TS/TSX, 43 API routes, 39 React components, 15 Prisma models, 417 commits

iOS app — live on the App Store, transfers to your developer account (keeps its listing)

Android app — live on Google Play, transfers to your Play Console account

The domain

Vercel production project + Supabase project (database + storage, incl. the 108-user database)

37 technical documents: architecture, deployment checklist, Stripe production setup, OAuth verification, troubleshooting, security setup

9 feature specs + 2 business plans with per-user cost models

The Spanish-tuned personality ("soul") system prompts and voice configurations — significant iteration went into these; they are the product's moat

Written step-by-step transfer checklist.

Risks

Minimal traction — growth is on the buyer. Mitigation: the product is finished, so effort goes 100% to marketing, and the February data shows it converts when pushed; the Spanish-first niche avoids head-on competition with ChatGPT.

Competitive market — big providers have free tiers. Mitigation: the tuned Spanish personality, voice mode, and crypto payments for markets where cards fail — that combination is the moat, not the model.

AI API costs scale with usage. Mitigation: per-tier limits and per-user cost caps are already enforced server-side, and cost models are documented, so margins are known before you spend.

Provider dependency. Mitigation: the Vercel AI SDK abstraction plus dormant OpenAI/xAI adapters mean any model can be swapped in config.

Solo-built codebase. Mitigation: TypeScript strict, tests, 37 docs, and 2 weeks of my support — built to be handed over.

Summary

You are buying a finished, live product with distribution — not an idea. Two app-store listings transfer with the sale, which alone saves you the Apple review gauntlet and weeks of compliance work. The one small push it ever got produced ~90 signups and 1,200+ messages in a month, so the funnel demonstrably works. The Spanish-speaking market is huge and underserved; the personality work is done, monetization is wired (including crypto for LatAm), holding costs are near zero, and the documentation is unusually complete — you can run this without me from day one. At $2,900 OBO it is priced as an asset sale, a fraction of what rebuilding it would cost. Fast, clean, fully documented transfer.

✅ $112 TTM revenue

✅ 2 customers

✅ Business model: Freemium

✅Built with TypeScript, Swift, Prisma

Expenses

$99/year Apple Dev Program, $99/year domain, API is per consumption.

Business Model

Freemium: Guest → Free (Gemini Flash, capped msgs/day) → Premium at $7.99/mo (Stripe) or $7/mo (crypto): Claude Sonnet, unlimited messages, voice, images. Per-user cost caps protect margins; models, prices and limits are config values.

Target Audience

Spanish speakers in LatAm and the US (40M+) who want frontier AI in native Spanish: local personality, voice mode, and crypto payments for markets where cards fail. B2C, mobile-first.

Asking Price Reasoning

$2,900 is asset pricing, not a revenue multiple: ~40,700 lines of production TypeScript, live iOS + Android apps (store approvals alone save weeks), the domain, working Stripe + crypto billing, and 37 docs. Rebuilding costs a multiple of this.

Reason for Selling

My other ventures take all my time. This bot is finished and working — code, apps, and billing all run — but it needs an owner who will market it, and that won't be me. I'd rather sell it than let it idle. Every claim verifiable in diligence.

Growth Opportunity

All channels are untouched while the paid funnel is already built. First moves: ASO on the two live store listings (Spanish AI keywords are uncontested), Spanish TikTok/IG content, US Hispanic market, LatAm influencer partnerships.

Competitors

ChatGPT, Gemini, Meta AI (WhatsApp), and Spanish-first assistants like Luzia. My bot wins on its tuned Spanish personality ("soul"), voice mode, and crypto payments — not raw models. OpenAI/xAI adapters in the code let a buyer add more.

Tech Stack

TypeScript, Stripe, Swift, Prisma, NextAuth, Kotlin, TailwindCSS, Next.js, Supabase, PostgreSQL, React, Vercel.
