Overview

My product is a native iOS app: you pick a video, choose a language, and the app translates it and dubs it with an AI voice. It has been live on the App Store since June 29, 2026. I built it for an investor, so the UI, onboarding and paywall are polished, and the app is localized into the main App Store languages.

Key highlights:

Revenue (RevenueCat): July 2026 $102, August 2026 $70

New customers: May 31, June 43, July 109, August 70

Download-to-paid conversion 1.2-1.5% (App Store Connect)

Running costs about $5/month

100% organic traffic, paid ads were never run

Team

Built and maintained by me. Day-to-day upkeep is minimal.

Tech Stack

Swift (native iOS), RevenueCat for subscriptions, backend on VULT, dubbing through the HeyGen API. The dubbing API can be swapped for a cheaper provider to improve margins.

Marketing and growth

No paid marketing so far, all installs come from the App Store organically. App Store Connect for the period on the screenshot: 11.7k impressions, 337 product page views, 193 first-time downloads.

Revenue and profit

Revenue: July $102, August $70. Costs are about $5/month, so almost all revenue is profit.

Return on investment

At the current level (about $81/month profit, July-August average) payback is around 2.5 years with no growth at all. Paid traffic, ASO and a cheaper dubbing API are the obvious ways to shorten it.

Startup assets

The iOS app, transferred to your App Store account (ratings and reviews stay)

Full Swift source code

RevenueCat project

Backend

Risks

Revenue is small and comes only from organic App Store traffic, so it can go up or down from month to month. The app depends on a third-party AI API (HeyGen); if their pricing changes, the provider can be replaced.

Summary

A finished, polished app in a growing niche, with paying users and almost no running costs. A good fit for someone who can run paid traffic or work on ASO. I will help with the transfer and share what I would do next; longer post-sale support is negotiable.

✅ $172 TTM revenue

✅ 4 customers

✅ Business model: SaaS

✅ Built with Swift, RevenueCat
